Introduction to GA Waterfeatures This stunning large water feature wall was commissioned by a designer on behalf of a private client in central London. Their small courtyard garden was being completely transformed into a luxurious space for relaxing and entertaining. An initial survey was completed in order to obtain a provisional overall cost for the supply and the installation of the large garden water feature, which measures some 5.5m wide x 3.2m high. As is the way with many central London properties access was very limited and this factor impacted on the way the feature was designed and ultimately constructed. Fabrication took place in our UK workshop and a margin of flexibility was built into the works in order to allow for adjustments to be made once all materials were being installed on site. The feature is formed from the highest grade 316 stainless steel in a finely brushed finish. Access to the garden area was incredibly limited and in order to deliver the feature sections and tank we had to manoeuvre around a glass balustrade and a 2m step down to the lower courtyard area. The feature was installed by the Garden Builders, our construction team. Our engineer had to work in tandem with other tradesmen on site in order to keep to the clients strict installation schedule, to have the outdoor garden water features completed on schedule.Aspects of the feature had to be constructed on site with painstaking attention to detail, including the tank which had to be installed in sections with water channels running from one zone to another and a sophisticated draining system.As a finishing touch a series of stainless steel colour changing LED light fittings were mounted along the front tank area, shining upwards and over the feature wall. The colour change LED lighting is controlled by a ‘state of the art’ DMX system. Design Services & CommissionsOur in-house design team work with computer aided graphic programmes including Autocad and Sketchup allowing clients to visualise a finished garden water feature scheme from the outset. Some water feature projects may require more specific design input and also possibly have to meet stringent health and safety or site specific requirements. Prices for our in-house design consultation service are dictated by each individual project. We are always happy to quote for our design services. NOTE: Not all water features or water walls require our specialist design services. Where the feature or water wall required is more or less straightforward then we would make no charge for a design service. 
 MaterialsThe possibilities are endless! We can fabricate garden water features, water walls and water towers in a wide variety of materials and colours. The most popular material being grade 316 stainless steel sheet - either mirror polished finish or brushed polish finish. We are always happy to work with other materials including; bronze, copper, lead, granite, slate, glass, marble, stone and coloured acrylic/Perspex, etc. Materials can also be combined in order to create exciting, truly unique water features for any location or project. Corporate Logo’s can be included within the water feature design.  Lighting of Garden Water FeaturesWe are happy to specify and also supply high quality lighting for integral positioning for your garden water feature. Customers can choose from LED or low voltage systems, including state of the art colour changing or remote control lighting. When it comes to garden water feature lighting design we can also advise our clients on suitable fittings and arrange for a fully qualified, part P certified electrician to install your garden water feature lights. Alternatively we are happy to assist your own electricians should they require installation information.
